*Wrap Dress ~ 80s rainbow stripes

I made this wrap dress from 2 vintage 80s Rainbow striped towels that were extra large and extra plush I had been saving these towels for quite some time because they’re so special. Both towels are “super stripes“ by Cecil Saydah Company and are 100% cotton. This wrap style dress/robe features adjustable sizing that can fit a large range. I used vintage yellow bias tape to outline and accent. The tie is attached at the center back and the front can be wrapped left over right or right over left. The wrap dress also features two front pockets.

Measurements -This was difficult to measure Since it is a wrap-style robe/dress and can fit a range wrapped tighter to fit smaller or wrapped looser to fit larger 

With front panels overlapping-
Pit to Pit is 23”
Waist about 23”
Hips 32”
Sleeve length (from the top of the neck to the bottom of the sleeve) 21" (about 11” for the arm hole)
Across bottom hem about 41”
The full span across the bottom hem/edge, opened and laid flat, measured from one end to the other is about 96”
